The training event was held on 07,08,09,10 September 2021 in Meric, Edirne, Turkey. With the telephone conversations, the farmers were invited to the training events. “Training of Representatives of Authorities, farmers, businesses, civil society about Environment” - Training events was organized as a capacity building activity based on the needs of agricultural fields. Some topics are as follows: Sustainable Agriculture; Atmosphere, Solid Waste Management and Soil Pollution-Waste Management and treatment; Recycling of EU requirements; Best Practices Examples. A total of 25 farmers were trained. The training was held for 4 days for 25 farmers by a full professor from Trakya University. The rent of hall with the Covid - 19 measures for 25 farmers was organized. 4 lunches and 8 coffee breaks were done to 25 people during the training events. Consumables such as pens and folders were disseminated to the participants. Prof. Dr. Yalçın KAYA from Trakya University, who is the head of the department at Trakya University has lots of papers, and experiences in the region for many years. 25 farmers signed the participant list in each day of the training event. They were very engaged and anxious to get some information from Prof. Dr. Yalçın Kaya, as Prof. Kaya and his family is also farmers too. He knows all the regions problems faced by the farmers, local authorities and national authorities.
